Humor to the Rescue!

After careful thought and consideration, I've decided what to do with this site. I intend to create an archive of comedic satire - sometimes political, sometimes not. I'll try to keep the message as light and subtle as possible while maximizing the humor value. Why? Because seriousness breeds polarization. People get annoyed if you spam them with political rhetoric they agree with, and of course they become even more entrenched in their opinions if they disagree. As a result, friends and family members are generally more reluctant to share political stuff than humorous stuff. If something is humorous but still contains a subtle message, it may spread more widely than a dry, stern message, and equally important: it is much more likely to slip past a person's reactionary radar.

I have other means of subversion at my disposal, but I won't discuss them here since I would like to preserve plausible deniability as to my intent. It's the kind of thing that isn't illegal per se but could be labeled as such depending on exactly how it is presented to the public. So I intend to present it in such a way that nobody will blame me when the shit hits the fan. :D
